Custom Carpentry
in Charleston, SC
One-off woodwork built to fit your home, shelving, mantels, paneling, and details you cannot buy off a shelf.
Some things have to be built for the space they live in. LLS Construction designs and builds custom woodwork for homes across Charleston and the Lowcountry, bookshelves that fit the wall exactly, fireplace mantels, wainscoting, accent paneling, and the one-off pieces that make a house feel finished. Twenty years in the trade means we measure once, build it square, and install it tight, so the work looks like it was always part of the house.

Quick answers before you book.
Can you match the woodwork already in my house?
Yes. We match existing trim profiles, stains, and paint finishes so new custom work blends in seamlessly with what is already there, or intentionally stands out, if that is the look you want.
Do you design the piece or do I need plans?
Either way works. Bring an inspiration photo or a rough idea and we will detail it for your space, or build from plans you already have.
What kind of wood do you work with?
Poplar and MDF for painted work, and oak, maple, walnut, or pine for stained pieces. We will recommend the right material for the look, the use, and your budget at the estimate.
